Aesthetic medicine, not to be confused with cosmetic surgery, includes all specific medical care techniques, without surgery, intended to improve unsightly problems, whether or not linked to the effects of aging, of the body or face.
Aesthetic medicine therefore seeks to improve appearance. It readily uses injection techniques, exfoliation, and various physical agents such as light, lasers, electromagnetic radiation, intense cold, ultrasound, etc.
BOTOX: BOTULINUM TOXIN INJECTION
Botox (also known as Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a neurotoxin that prevents the release of acetylcholine (a substance used by the brain to communicate with muscles) and affects the connection between nerves and muscles. Botox temporarily blocks the connection between nerves and muscles, thus causing muscle movement. This connection will gradually be restored.

When to use Botox ?
Botox is primarily used to treat crow's feet (wrinkles that appear at the outer corners of the eyes) and frown lines (vertical wrinkles that appear on the forehead, between the eyebrows).
The results
Botox temporarily improves the appearance of wrinkles by reducing muscle movement.
Botox targets specific muscles, allowing you to express your emotions, but with fewer wrinkles.
The first results are visible after 24 hours, and last for approximately 5 to 6 months. After that, you are free to continue the treatment or not.
HYALURONIC ACID: THE FILLER
Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in our skin. As we age, this molecule becomes increasingly scarce. This phenomenon increases the risk of wrinkles and fine lines appearing on the face, neck, and décolleté.

In which areas should Hyaluronic Acid be used?
- Dark circles
- The times
- The cheeks
- The nose and nasolabial fold
- Perioral wrinkles, lips, jaw and chin
- Puppet wrinkles
The results
Unlike Botox, hyaluronic acid is a filler. It plumps up less voluminous areas of the face, smooths out fine lines, folds, and wrinkles, and lifts certain areas.
The injectable product is biodegradable, so it will disappear naturally after 12 to 18 months. This period may vary from person to person.
SKINBOOSTERS: PROFHILO
Profhilo® is a liquid gel based on hyaluronic acid, which acts as a stimulating product, rather than a filler.
Not only does Profhilo® provide deep, long-lasting hydration, but it also reshapes the skin by increasing collagen production. This collagen-stimulating process helps firm the skin overall.

How does it work?
It is a combination of two gels with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid which has a high diffusion capacity.
Injected very superficially, it will lead to a structural remodeling of the dermis. It promotes the viability of fibroblasts, keratinocytes and fat cells, which results in increased elasticity and support of the skin.
The cost of treatment
The cost of a Profhilo injection session is approximately 300 euros.
